Orphée keeps the symbol and reverses the sentence. The skull does not warn of the dark. It holds the light.

The making
Orphée was made in Bassano del Grappa, at the foot of the Venetian Alps, in a region that has worked metal for centuries.
The object carries its own evidence — the line of the frame, the weight of the base in the hand.
The edition
Fifty Orphée were produced in the original run. Forty found their owners. The final ten are numbered I to X, each accompanied by a certificate. Future editions, if any, will differ in finish and carry their own numbering.
